The Top 10 Games of the Regular Season (#10-Winter Springs vs. Lake Brantley)

Print E-mail
Written by Buddy Collings

This week we'll release our picks for the Top 10 games of the 2008 regular season. Each day we'll release two games beginning with #10 and #9 on Monday and concluding with #2 and #1 on Friday.

No. 10
Lake Brantley 28, Winter Springs 21 (Sept. 26)

Why: Winter Springs came in on a roll, with a 3-0 record and Al-Terek McBurse running wild. And the Bears built a 14-0 halftime lead. But Brantley’s defense contained McBurse aside from one breakaway TD and turned the game around with an interception return TD by A.J. Sepe and a fumble return TD by Craig Veech. Two fourth quarter TDs by the offense completed a comeback that was key to the Patriots making the playoffs.
