Seminole High speedster Andre Debose is good for at least one huge play every time he steps onto a football field - even if it is for a matchup against the nation's best defensive backs.
Debose did it again in Sunday night's nationally-televised (ESPN) Under Armour All-America Game. He took a pass lofted by Russell Shepard, an LSU-bound quarterback from Houston, just over coverage on the sideline and turned it into a 92-yard touchdown play.
Debose, who made the sensational last-minute TD catch to win the Class 6A state title game over Miami Northwestern, had to evade onrushing safety Stephon Gilmore of the White team after his catch. Debose was able to turn Gilmore around with a shake move and got into the end zone as the South Carolina senior dragged him down.

Matt Barkley’s big arm, plus the big-play ability of small-school stars Ronnell Lewis, Jamal Reid and Marlon Brown added up to a 27-16 victory for the White team in Sunday night’s Under Armour All-America high school football game at the Citrus Bowl.
Barkley, a polished California quarterback who has orally committed to Southern Cal, had a hand in every score for the winners and was Most Valuable Player in a game that featured 80 of the top high school senior prospects in the country. He passed for two early touchdowns and engineered two more fourth-quarter drives for field goals.
"This was just a great week," Barkley said. "These are the best athletes in America. To grow close to some of these guys from different states, it’s been really neat."

SAN ANTONIO — As part of teams that reached the state semifinals in 2007 and region finals last season, Jeremy Gallon of Apopka should be a good judge of football talent.
After playing in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl before an announced crowd of 32,832 at the Alamodome, consider Gallon impressed.
"On the bus ride to the game, I was really nervous," said Gallon, who finished with one catch for 34 yards as his East team prevailed 30-17. "But once I got on the field, it all went away. I’m just proud to play in this game with these type of players."
