Seniors Jeremy Wright of East Ridge and Al-Terek McBurse rank second and third all-time for regular season rushing in Central Florida history. And they are 1-2 among big-school backs.

Dan Parkins of Lake Highland Prep set the record with 2,362 yards in 1990.

Wright broke Lake County's record and McBurse eclipsed a Seminole Athletic Conference record set in 1990 by Marquette Smith on his final carry of the season last week.

Two other outstanding senior backs, Lake Brantley's Antonio Miles and Boone's James Washington, have also put their names on the all-time leaderboard for their conferences.

Here are the stats we have on all-time greats. If we are missing anybody from the Sentinel coverage area, please notify me by e-mail: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
